The Nuri Vault is a self-custody wallet. This means that only the person who created the vault and who has the main and backup key can access it.
When creating a Nuri Vault, the keys are displayed only once, which is why it's very important to note them down and keep them in a safe place.
In case you ever forget your password, you can restore the Vault using the two keys. Nuri won't be able to see those either when it's generated or at a later point in time and will never have access to your Vault.
If you're instead looking for a possibility that, in addition to some other advantages, is also secured by the possibility of access by Nuri, we recommend our Nuri Wallet. You can find the differences between our wallets and vaults here.
